Thank you for your interest in volunteering as a Faith & Grief event volunteer host. We are recognizing Faith & Grief’s 10th Anniversary by hosting two signature events, our 6th Annual Faith & Grief Memorial Arch in Dallas’ Kylde Warren Park and the debut of River of Time, an art installation at the Crow Musuem for Asian Art in Dallas.
The Faith & Grief Memorial Arch is a place of hope and comfort. The Arch opens Saturday, November 27th through December 19th. As a volunteer host, you will assist visitors add ribbons to the Arch to remember their loved ones. Volunteer host shifts may vary during the Arch event.
River of Time, an art installation, opening at the Crow Museum is created by renowed artist, Pam Nelson. Pam used the ribbons added over the last six years from the past Faith & Grief Memorial Arch events. The installation is scheduled to be on display October 27th – November 28th. Volunteer hosts or docents will answer questions, explain the installation to individual art patrons, and listen to patron’s experiences with grief.
