Grief truly is a journey of emotions as well as physical and social changes. Speaker: Jana Rentzel, PhD – Grief Counselor
Christmas comes at a time when the Earth is in its darkest season. December 21st – the Winter Solstice – marks the longest, darkest night of the year. Likewise, many of us are experiencing the darkest night of our souls as well. But this is also a Holy night, for within this darkness lies the brightest, most magnificent star.

Dr. Jana Rentzel will discuss this Holy Mystery of Christmas: that within our deepest darkness, God’s Light can be revealed most clearly to us. She will show us how – when grief has shattered our world, when we feel lost and alone, when we can’t even begin to see our next step – we can discover our profound and intimate connection with God, allowing Christ to be born, evermore fully, in our heart and soul.
