Faith & Grief Ministries is blessed through grant monies from congregations who are called to bring comfort to those who mourn. It is a humbling and joyous opportunity to collaborate with these congregations to meet the needs of persons in the aftermath of grief.
The St. Philip Presbyterian Central Mission Endo wment granted Faith & Grief Ministries $15,000.00 for promotion and scholarships for “Comfort and Hope on the Journey of Grief”, a weekend retreat held at Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly in February 2016. This grant reduced the registration fee and opened the way for 47 persons to participate in a weekend of comfort and healing. One participant reflected,“I felt the heart of God speaking and healed so much more than I ever anticipated. Faith and Grief provides something that’s been missing in our culture and churches for too long—a safe place to be vulnerable in grief. Faith and Grief helped us find so many tools, so many different ways to pray, so many scriptural references to guide us, so many warm memories from the stories and support.” To underwrite a retreat or provide scholarships in memory of a loved one, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
