Why Donate?

Faith & Grief Ministries relies on your generosity to bring resources and support to grieving individuals around the country. Through your contribution, you bring both comfort to those who mourn and resources to those who need them most. Most of all, we make every dollar you donate count. Most of our leaders volunteer their time so we can spend less on overhead and more on providing comfort to those in grief.

North Texas Giving Day

This year, giving to Faith & Grief for North Texas Giving Day is easier than ever before. Starting September 10, you can schedule your gift, or you can wait for the big day and get up and give on September 20! You can find our page by clicking here or by visiting www.northtexasgivingday.org and searching “Faith and Grief.”
Our goal is to raise $35,000 to help individuals like you find hope and healing in their time of grief. When you give, your funds will be matched by a handful of generous donors who have pledged $17,000 if we are able to reach our goal.
No amount is too big or too small, but we need everyone’s help to make an impact on lives across DFW and across the country. Will you pitch in?

Amy’s Story

Amy Cannady explains why it's important to donate“I chose Faith & Grief Ministries as a suggested way others might choose to honor my husband’s memory. Michael and I had both been involved with this “Oh So Necessary” ministry; he, as a widower, I as a facilitator. Upon my beloved husband’s own death, I knew I would claim my seat as a participant in this loving, healing ministry. Here, I could process ALL MY FEELINGS on my path to “A New Normal.” Contributions to Faith and Grief Ministries provide that this ministry continues for others. It was comforting and meaningful to know, at my time of loss, that legacies left in Michael’s name would provide for others traveling this path of unwanted grief.” Amy Cannady

Follow Amy’s example and donate to Faith & Grief Ministries in memory of your loved one so that other’s are blessed by the resources of ongoing comfort.

Because we know that some people like to donate the “old fashioned way,” donations can be mailed to Faith & Grief Ministries, Inc., 6614 Lakehurst Ave., Dallas, Texas 75230.
